Violation Remediation
3 min read
A brand violation detected is only valuable if it produces a corrective action. The remediation system converts violations into specific instructions for the generator — not "fix the colors" but "element at coordinates (120, 340) uses #00e5ff, which deviates 4 degrees from the required #00ffff. Adjust hue by -4 degrees."
Remediation follows the violation tier. Tier 1 remediation: the asset is rejected. The full generation prompt is reviewed for brand rule compliance before regeneration. If the prompt itself violates brand rules (specifying an off-brand color, for example), the prompt is corrected first. Tier 2 remediation: the critic provides specific, location-referenced corrections. The generator applies the corrections and resubmits for brand review. Tier 3 remediation: the violations are logged. If the same Tier 3 violation appears in more than 30% of a batch, it escalates to a prompt template review — the template is allowing drift on a dimension that should be locked.
Remediation round limit: 2 rounds maximum. If the asset fails brand review after 2 remediation rounds, the prompt template itself is the problem — not the individual generation. Escalate to template redesign.
