LinkedIn rewards professional insight and contrarian business takes. Twitter rewards brevity and wit. Instagram rewards visual hooks with text overlays. TikTok rewards the first three seconds of video. Each platform has a different hook grammar. A LinkedIn hook that opens with a bold professional claim performs. The same claim on Twitter needs to be compressed to one sentence. On Instagram, it needs to be visualized. On TikTok, it needs to be spoken in the first two seconds while the visual creates a pattern interrupt. The hook is the same idea, expressed in the native language of each platform.
