The AI Risk Dashboard

3 min read

The AI risk dashboard is a specialized view that combines legal, regulatory, and operational risk indicators for AI systems. It bridges the gap between the security monitoring dashboard (which shows technical threats) and the compliance dashboard (which shows regulatory status) by presenting the integrated risk picture that neither provides alone.

  1. Panel 1: AI Risk Portfolio Total quantified AI risk exposure with breakdown by category — technical, operational, legal, reputational. Trended monthly. The portfolio panel answers: how much AI risk do we have, and is it growing or shrinking?
  2. Panel 2: Compliance Status Framework-level compliance percentage for every applicable AI regulation. Green/amber/red status. Gap count. The compliance panel answers: are we compliant with the regulations that apply to our AI systems?
  3. Panel 3: Active Risk Events Current open risk events — incidents under investigation, controls that have failed health checks, regulatory changes awaiting implementation, and overdue mitigation actions. The active events panel answers: what needs attention right now? [RECOMMEND]: The active events panel should be the first thing the risk owner sees each morning.
