Designing Source Content for Repurposing

3 min read

The most efficient repurposing starts before the original content is written. Source content designed for repurposing has modular sections, standalone insights, and clear data points that extract cleanly. The structure: the introduction contains a hook that works as a social post. Each major section contains one key insight that works as a standalone takeaway. Data points are formatted to extract into infographic components. The framework or model is diagrammable. The conclusion contains a CTA that works across formats. This structure does not compromise the quality of the original article — it enhances it. Modular, well-structured content is better content for every audience, not just the repurposing pipeline.
