The Content War Room

The competitive content calendar is not a standard editorial calendar. It is a war room. Every piece of content is mapped to a competitive objective: defend a position, attack a weakness, establish a new category, or respond to a competitor move. The calendar integrates three inputs: the standard content roadmap, the competitive monitoring brief, and the sales team's competitive intelligence from the field. When sales reports that three prospects mentioned the same competitor claim in one week, the war room responds with content that addresses it within days, not quarters.
