Teleport & Mobile Sessions
2 min read
Boris Chenry runs 5-10 web Claude sessions on claude.ai/code in parallel with his local terminal sessions. The key feature that connects them: /teleport. This command transfers a local Claude Code session to the web, creating a cloud-hosted session you can monitor from any device — including your phone via the Claude iOS app. The pattern: start a complex task locally, /teleport it to the web, walk away, and check progress from your phone throughout the day.
Boris starts sessions from his phone every morning using the Claude iOS app, checks in on web sessions throughout the day, and teleports active terminal sessions when he needs to step away. The mental model: your terminal instances are your 'active work,' web instances are your 'background work,' and phone sessions are your 'monitoring.' This three-tier approach means Claude is always working, even when you're away from your desk.
