Standardized Network Mapping
3 min read
A standardized network mapping methodology ensures that every deal team produces a network map of consistent quality and format. The methodology defines the minimum number of stakeholders mapped (every person with medium or high influence on the outcome), the required relationship data per connection (type, weight, evidence basis), the required analysis outputs (power center identification, flow path analysis, vulnerability assessment), and the update cadence (after every significant interaction or organizational change).
The methodology integrates with the committee intelligence templates from BI-301d. The committee map identifies who is involved. The DISC profiles from BI-301e identify how to communicate. The influence network map identifies who influences whom and how decisions flow. Together, the three layers provide a complete stakeholder intelligence picture: who (committee), how (DISC), and through whom (network). Each layer adds value independently but the three layers combined produce intelligence that none could produce alone.
