Structured Feedback Format

The critic's feedback must be actionable, not editorial. "This could be better" is useless. "Section 3 paragraph 2 uses passive voice — rewrite in active voice to match CLOSER's assertive tone" is actionable. The feedback format determines whether the producer can fix the issue in one pass or needs another round of clarification.

Structured feedback follows the Location-Issue-Fix pattern. Location: exactly where the problem is, referenced by section, line, or element identifier. Issue: what specifically is wrong, with the scoring dimension it violates. Fix: a concrete instruction for resolution — not a hint, not a suggestion, a directive. At this level, we measure fix-application rate: the percentage of critic feedback that the producer successfully applies in one revision pass. Our target is 87.00% or higher.
